On Wednesday last week we returned to Dukes Meadows, a fantastic 9 hole par 3 course close to central London. Bonfire Night is a great night for running a night golf event and there were over 500 people attending a firework display while golfers played 6 holes of Night Golf.
There was also a barbecue laid on, kids activities and a DJ. It really was a night for the whole family, not just golfers!
The Night Golf event itself was run by our Event Manager for the South, Tracey Boyes and was a great success.
Next year, bonfire night is on a Thursday so we are expecting the Thursday and the Friday to book up quickly so contact us as soon as you can if you are looking for either of those dates.
We’ve been overwhelmed recently by the positive feedback we have been receiving. We’ve had some testing times with investment in new golf balls that didn’t turn out as we hoped but the clubs and members have continued to enjoy our events. We are constantly looking at ways of improving our service and the products we use, sometimes it doesn’t work out.
We will continue to look at improvements and we welcome suggestions from anyone so please feel free to email us email@example.com or contact us via twitter (@nightgolfuk) or Facebook (The Night Golf Company).
Thanks to everyone who has played in our recent events and we hope to see you again next year!

We are delighted to have Tracey Boyes join the Night Golf team as Event Manager and she will be running her first event at Dukes Meadow this week.
Tracey plays on the European LET Access Tour and is attached to Royal Winchester Golf Club. Tracey will be running our events in London and the South East (Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey).
Tracey can be contacted via email firstname.lastname@example.org and is also seeking sponsors for next season.
We are also please to announce that our Event Manager for the Midlands, Abbey Gittings, has come through Q-School pre-qualifying in Morocco and will compete for a place on the main Ladies European Tour. We wish her every success back in Morocco in December.
Delighted to hear that last night event at Lilley Brook on Radio Gloucestershire.
Here is the sound file if you missed it on BBC Radio Gloucestershire
We are shortly going to be launching a quarterly newsletter as we have some exciting Night Golf projects in the pipeline, one of which is the first ever Night Golf Pro Am this autumn. There will only be 4 a year (so we won’t bombard you!) but it will mean we can keep you updated on clubs running events in your area, special offers and exclusive discounts as well as Open Competitions and ProAms.
We will also draw two subscribers out of a hat to win a dozen Srixon AD333 golf balls each.
There are going to be some amazing prizes up for grabs for both the Professionals and the amateurs in our ProAm including a golf break for 2, a round at Royal Birkdale some amazing clothing and gear. For the winning Professional, there’s the opportunity to have your entry fees paid in to Tour School at the end of the year!
This will be a fantastic event and the first of it’s kind in the UK. We’ll also be following it up with a Ladies event.
If you’d like to be involved whether as an amateur, professional or partner organisation please sign up to our newsletter using the form below. [contact-form-7 404 "Not Found"]
We are delighted to announce that Abbey Gittings has joined us to run our events across the Midlands. Abbey plays on the LET Access Tour and we’ll all be watching her progress and supporting her this year as she attempts to secure a place on the main Tour.
Photos and bio can be seen on the Meet the Team section of our website.
In fact, as we approach the new season, now is a good time to wish Kelly and Abbey a very successful season and Charlie a full and speedy recovery from injury. We know just how hard these girls work and, although we’re probably a little bit biased, they deserve to be playing at the very top of the Ladies game.
A lot of the Access Tour events are in Europe but on the main Tour the Ladies are at Royal Birkdale this year. As it’s just down the road for us, we’ll be going. The Ricoh Ladies Open is on July 10th – 13th and there is also Final Qualifying at S&A on July 7th. We urge you to go and watch if you can as it is a fantastic opportunity to see some great tournament golf without the crowds you’ll get at Hoylake the following week.
Please support them all and follow their progress on Twitter this year.
You may have noticed that we were featured in Today’s Golfer in January as part of a great article entitled “52 Things To Do in 2014”. Well, the guys at Today’s Golfer were so impressed with the set-up that they couldn’t wait to play!
The end result has appeared in this month’s magazine as a featured article. Director Mark Goodwin travelled down to Moor Park to meet them and set up a few holes. Stuart, who wrote the article, was very complimentary about the experience and the photos looked great. We think the article is pretty much spot-on too.
“It’s a bit like when you get into a left-hand drive car, switch from a Mac to a PC, or go to your local supermarket and find out they’ve moved the aisle where the milk is. From the shining flagsticks, to the glowing balls, to the fact I can’t see my playing partners’ faces, the whole thing is just mindboggling”
We are grateful to Moor Park and Jonathan Dove who provided a stunning backdrop for the photos and, as always, were incredibly helpful on the night. If you are looking for a venue for a corporate event or company golf day that has a real “wow factor”, give Jonathan a call.
